what is it?
We create a game prototype called Bubble Busters, its a game with multiple levels over a world where you must survive and destroy bubble monsters to beat levels and progress. At the end of each world is a boss you can fight.
why we did it?
We took a look at a load of our game concepts and ideas and gave a shot of turning it into a fully functional prototype, this game was based off an old popular game we used to play online called Bubble Trouble. Starting with balls which bounce around the screen we developed a character that can run back and forth shooting at bubble monsters. The bigger monsters will split apart when killed into two smaller versions and its’s the players job to destroy them.
The aim is to eventually progress this prototype into a full blown game available on mobile and potentially pc.

bosses
We worked on bosses for the game, as it would add that extra level of complexity and mix up gameplay every now and then, the idea was to add one boss per world. Each boss would have its own unique movement systems, the boss I currently settled on is relatively simple, unlike the normal enemies that bounce around, this one will bounce towards the player stopping above them before slamming into the ground. This would be simple and good enough for the first worlds boss.
