Whats The Process?
We create a variety of different virtual apps for different uses, from exploring the interior of a room, to VR games. Every experience is different and virtual reality is the next level of user interaction.
Understanding the brief
Before anything can begin we will first make sure to start talking with the client and creating a brief of the project. This would contain all the details for what the virtual experience will need and how the player will navigate and interact with the virtual world.
Design and Planning
We will plan out every interactive element, every required graphic and model. And breakdown just how we will proceed with the project.
Development Process
Once the designs are complete we will proceed by first creating the foundation of the virtual reality experience, most importantly making sure that the controls are easy to use and ready from the get go. We then build upon this base making it look good for a true immersive experience.
Testing and Publishing
Each and every step will be thoroughly tested, In VR this means we will put on a headset and really get up and close inside the game itself, making sure the result is high quality from close or afar. Once complete, the product will be uploaded and released to the target devices such as Android and iOS devices or tools such as the Oculus.
The Tools We Used
Unity
Unity has amazing control and great documentation covering Virtual reality, combined with its easy to jump into scripting we can cater the app to our needs, giving us that crucial control and helping us create a truly immersive experience.
Google Cardboard
Google cardboard and other headset devices created for mobile really allow us to create lightweight virtual reality experiences that anyone can play from the comforts of their own home. just download the app, setup the headset and jump in.
Oculus
The Oculus is one of the more high end virtual reality devices, this is where high graphic fidelity truly shines, wit the controller you can not only observe but also interact with virtual objects around you.
